Robert Sanábria, a retired Army lieutenant colonel, is a decorated veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. Born in El Paso, Texas, he holds BA and MFA degrees from the University of Maryland. He is a professional sculptor, lecturer, and arts advocate. His memoir, Stewing in the Melting Pot: the Memoir of a Real American, was published in 2001. A father-daughter team, Guy Wilkinson and Emma Wilkinson began their writing adventures when Emma was in daycare.
